GPON ONT UNI Port multi-vlan tagging

Hi,


How to tag mulitple vlans in a UNI port of Huawei EG/HG series ONT ?  I need to make the LAN port of GPON ONT a VLAN trunk/tagged port.

Hello, friend!


For the OLT: Trunk and access are the definitions of upstream ports.


For the ONT: The upstream port is a PON port and the downstream port is an Ethernet (LAN) port. 


Generally, the downstream port does not have trunk/access, but has only native VLAN. 


Configure the native VLAN for the ONT LAN port on the OLT. If the native VLAN is not configured, the default value is 1. The native VLAN takes effect only when the LAN port is a Layer 2 port.

Hi dear,

we are already using native VLAN command. I need to drop VLAN 10 and 20 in ONT LAN port. Any solution or it is not possible ?

1. If the packets send to the ONT UNI port carry vlan tag ，you can configure the eth port translation or transparent in the ONT line profile .

reference below :


ont-srvprofile gpon  profile-name test

ont-port pots adaptive 32 eth 4 catv adaptive 8 

port vlan eth 2 translation 6 user-vlan 6

port vlan eth 2 translation 10 user-vlan 10

port vlan eth 2 translation 20 user-vlan 20

port vlan eth 2 translation 21 user-vlan 21

port vlan eth 3 translation 6 user-vlan 6

port vlan eth 3 translation 20 user-vlan 20

port vlan eth 3 translation 21 user-vlan 21

port vlan eth 4 translation 6 user-vlan 6

2. if the packets send to the ONT UNI port no vlan tag ,it requirement the ONT eth port add the vlan tag for the packets，you can configure the eth port native vlan：
