This is because devices from different vendors have different maintenance methods. As I gave you the command, you can feed back the power consumption of the Huawei device port and the device log, but now the problem is in the WAP. I don't know how to maintain the WAP. First of all, it's not a access network device, and then it's not a Huawei device. Therefore, you need to consult the WAP maintenance personnel. I hope you understand. Thank you! |

The issue is that devices connected on Port 5 (WAPs) are rebooting randomly. These are all POE enabled devices. Other ports are not facing the same problem. I suspect that WAP is drawing more power then ONT can support but I don't see this in the debug logs. This is happening all across the network. There are 50 WAPs installed and they all are randomly rebooting, all are POE enabled.

Hi, dear! What is the WAP device? Is the ONT connected to port 5? If the ONT is reset, you can check the ONT logs.

And can you provide the power consumption specifications of the WAP device?

Are you saying that the ONT does not go offline, but the Fortinet WAP goes offline?

Hi, dear! I'm sorry I have a lot of questions, but I hope you understand. This is because the information I need includes the OLT and ONT, but the information provided by you shows that the two devices are normal. To accurately identify and locate problems, I need to confirm these problems. Thanks!

ONT remains Online. This particular ONT which I shared in the log is UP for last 30 days, whereas port 5 was rebooted or disconnected several times during this 1 month period. Other ports 1-4 are stable as they are not POE enabled. Only problem is with POE enabled ports. |
