Hello, everyone!
Today, I will continue to explain a new topic – GPON OLT basic operations. Now, in this article, I will finish CLI features and start to explain user levels. Let’s get started.
The command for display history command is shown in the figure below.

This command is used to check the latest commands. These records are exclusively related to the user who is logged in. All these records are deleted after the user logs off. The system displays 10 commands by default. There is a possibility to increase or decrease the number of views. The # history-command max-size command is used for this, and the values are from 1 to 100.
The next table shows a description of CLI characters. There are two columns, character and meaning.

The next table shows common errors on the CLI. There are two columns: error name and error cause.

The following command is a language change command:
TEST (config) #switch language-mode.
OLT supports multiple languages, the user can choose one. The default languages are English and Chinese. The typical language is English. The language can be changed from any mode.
Now let's go to user levels and rights. The next figure shows and explains three levels.

There is three level for operation users:
administrator and super user
operator level, and
common user level.
Administrator and super level have the greatest privileges. They have the ability to add new lower level users - operator and common users. They have greater management and maintenance capabilities. The operator level is lower than the administrator level but higher than the common user level. At this level, device and service configuration are enabled. The common user level is the lowest level. He has the least privileges, very limited work. Mostly these are some very simple operations.
In the next article, I will detail explain users profiles and accounts.
This is the end of this article. I will explain this topic in the next article >> GPON OLT Basic Operations (4).
Thank you!
