Hello, team!

I have a question.

In the GPON network, the PON port to the user side uses single-fiber bidirectional optical fibers with different wavelengths.

The problems are:

The optical power of ONU receiving the OLT is -15db, and the optical power of OLT receiving ONU is -30db.

What should be checked in this case?

Check the section from the POS to the ONU.

1. optical splitter

2. ONU connector

3. Line from the optical splitter to the ONU

The ONT optical power is normal. If the network does not affect services, no further action is required.

If services are affected, replace the fiber core or device fiber.
