Hello community I want to know between XG-PON and GPON resolve in compactible over Huawei ONT, please help to explain me in details. thank you!

Hello Friend!

Solution:

The WBF is added on the optical splitter for GPON ONTs that are incompatible with XG-PON ONTs sharing the same ODN. Specifically,

1. Male and female connectors.
2. Can be externally connected to the SC/UPC (Shown in the following figure) or AC/APC connector.
3. The SC/UPC performance is basically the same as the SC/APC performance, but the SC/APC cost is slightly higher.

Hi,
GPON and XGPON can use same ODN.
For both tehnology, you can use same OLT - MA5800 and flex PON boards.
With these servise boards you can offer your customers GPON and XGPON services.
GPON user uses GPON ONU, XGPON user uses XGPON ONU.
