Google Meet is not working on Y8P

I bought an Huawei Y8P some days ago. It is a nice phone but, my first concern is lack of google play services. Somehow, I was able to access my gmails and yahoo mail. 

My major worry now is my inability to use Google Meet - I installed it but it does not work. I am a medical doctor working in a training institution in Nigeria and in this Covid-19 era we use Google Meet for daily morning clinical audit because it is free. I am so sad that since I changed to Y8P, I have not been able to join the virtual meeting when I do not have access to my computer. It is so so frustratting! Please, kindly assist me.

he device is powered by Kirin 710F octa-core and GPU is Mali-G51 MP4. The phone runs on Android 10 + EMUI 10.1 while it is worth noting there is no Google Play Services.


1. For the first, you have to Download Huawei.zip file, you can find it here https://drive.google.com/file/d/1sgl98duI_fMVFwikBJcZD8ortTeZRcpU/view
2. If you have already Downloaded it, now Upload this file to Flash Disk or any other External Storage that you can connect to your HUAWEI Y8p through USB-C Port.
3. Okay, now that you have Downloaded and Upload Huawei.zip, connect your External Storage to HUAWEI Y8p via USB-C.
4. Grab your HUAWEI Y8p and open Files

Note: I don't think it is secure 100%
