HiCoins as reward: 1 (problem unresolved)
Hey guys,

On the "Status > User Device Information" page, there is a list of connected devices (wired and wireless).

I'm trying to get this list to use in my application.

How does this page get this list and break down whether the device is wired or wireless?

Where is this information obtained from (syscall, scripts, etc.)?

Thank you

Hi friend.

Generally, a wired device is connected to an ONT through the LAN port of the ONT and is authenticated through the physical layer connection. A wireless device is connected to an ONT through an SSID and identifies the connected device based on wireless signals.

Hello,

Thanks for the reply.
I understand that, but the question is: how does this page get this information? Are there specific commands (script, syscall, etc.) for this?

Thanks

There is no special command. The authentication varies depending on the connection mode.

But how does this page get this information?

I want to get some information (IP, MAC, etc.) from all devices that are connected through cable in the Ethernet interfaces (eth0, eth1, etc.) to use in my program.

So my first thought is to do it the same way this page does. But if you have another, easier way to do it, I'd be happy to know.

Thank you.

I'm sorry, If you want to know how this page is created, I can't explain it, because it's information only for developers and confidential information of Huawei.
