Garmin 3 HR cannot reconnect to Huawei P20 Pro

Hello everyone!

I recently bought a Huawei P20 Pro and all seemed well until my already owned watch Garmin Felix 3 HR got disconnected for no reason. I had no problem with connecting the watch to the phone, the issue was afterwards reconnecting like when the distance between the two devices got too much, or I wanted to disable the Bluetooth on the smartphone.

I looked up the issue - so far all the problems that have been mentioned were problems with initial connection, not REconnection. I have updated both the phone and the watch to the latest versions. It's possible to connection them again with "New device" on the Garmin App, but it's too much hassle to reconnect them both manually everytime something happens. Can this be fixed somehow?
