Hi, all, today I'd like to introduce you a case about the FusionSolar real-time data curve displays breakpoints because the sampling period is changed on the SmartLogger, hope you can learn from it.
Background
The sampling period of the SmartLogger connected to the FusionSolar is changed from 5 minutes to 15 minutes (or 30 minutes or 60 minutes).
Symptom
After the sampling period is changed from 5 minutes to 15 minutes on the SmartLogger, the management system fails to draw a curve. After the sampling period is restored to 5 minutes, the GUI becomes normal.
As shown in the following figure, set the sampling period of the SmartLogger to 15 minutes at 12:00 and to 5 minutes after 14:30. During this period, the management system curve page is abnormal.

Cause
The SmartLogger reports data to the management system every 5 minutes by default. Assume that the SmartLogger reports data to the management system in the format of 0, 5, 10, 15, 20, 25...
When the storage period of the SmartLogger is set to 15 minutes, the data is reported normally at points 0 and 15, but is reported as invalid values at points 5 and 10 (because no storage data is available at this time).
By default, the management system draws curves every 5 minutes. Therefore, no continuous curve is displayed on the curve chart, and only single-point data is displayed on points 0 and 15.
Solution
Set the SmartLogger restoration period to 5 minutes. (Data generated in the past 5 minutes cannot be restored)
