Hi, friend.
Huawei Fusioncompute supports only Huawei servers. The hardware requirements are as follows:
The CPU supports the virtualization technology.
The models of CPUs in one cluster are the same. Otherwise, the VM migration between hosts will fail. Therefore, you are advised to deploy servers of the same model in a cluster.
The memory size is greater than 8 GB. If the host is used to deploy a management VM, the host memory must be greater than or equal to the total size of the management VM memory and the memory of the management domain of the host accommodating the management VM.
The local disk size is greater than 90 GB in the x86 architecture or 110 GB in the ARM architecture for compute nodes so that the OS and service software can be installed properly. For management nodes, the local disk space is recommended to be greater than or equal to 140 GB.
However, we don't know whether servers from other vendors support FusionCompute deployment. If you want to migrate, you are advised to contact Huawei's after-sales team, because migration requires very complicated pre-evaluation and the migration process is complicated. Otherwise, the migration may affect services or data.
