Hello, everyone!
This post will share with you the FusionCloud software architecture.
Software Architecture
Two typical deployment schemes (Region Type I and Region Type II) are recommended for the FusionCloud solution.
Figure 1 and Figure 2 show the software architecture of Region Type I and Region Type II. Table1 describes the components and their functions.

Table1 FusionCloud components
Layer | Component | Description (Region Type I) | Description (Region Type II) |
Cloud management layer | IAM | An Identity and Access Management (IAM) provides a user accounts management mechanism designed for enterprises. It allocates different resources and operation rights to enterprise members, so that the members can use access keys to access private cloud resources through an open API.
ServiceCenter | A ServiceCenter is a service system provided for a certain organization or individual. It provides functions such as organization management, quota management, and measurement management.
OperationCenter | An OperationCenter provides O&M functions such as integrated monitoring and assurance analysis.
eSight | An eSight manages storage, servers, routers, switches, and firewall in a unified manner.
OpsMonitor | An OpsMonitor is a distributed O&M monitoring system. It monitors the host OS, process, platform and basic services on the web page.
ELK | An integrated log collection platform developed based on ElasticSearch, Logstash, and Kibana. You can use ELK to collect logs.
G-ray | G-ray traces service requests in a distributed system and displays their states and tracks, helping engineers quickly discover faults and performance bottlenecks.
FusionCare | FusionCare is tool used by the O&M personnel to perform maintenance inspection and collection of FusionSphere offline logs.
FusionNetDoctor | FusionNetDoctor is ping tool for O&M personnel to detect network disconnections on virtual networks. If the network between tenants' VMs is disconnected or packet loss occurs, O&M personnel can quickly locate the fault on the web page of FusionNetDoctor. | -
Cloud service layer | - | Cloud service layer provides a unified cloud service application and self-service platform.
Public service layer | - | Public service layer incorporates internal public components to support the operation of all cloud services.
Resource pool layer | FusionSphere OpenStack | FusionSphere OpenStack, based on the open-source OpenStack, provides complete management services for computing resources, storage resources, and network resources.
