◾The local PC is properly communicating with the installation plane, which is the network plane that assigns DHCP addresses and is used for installing hosts. You are advised to use the management plane as the installation plane. If the IP address of the local PC is not in the installation plane network segment, configure the DHCP relay on the switch. For details, see Example of Configuring Switch.
NOTE:
◾Do not add VLAN tags to packets passing through the PXE port during the PXE boot process. Configure network settings to allow these packets to pass through the port.
◾The system time is set correctly on the local PC.
•Except the DHCP server provided by this tool, no other DHCP servers are running in the installation plane subnet during host installation.
•Servers in the installation plane network, except hosts to be installed, do not require DHCP addresses.
