Hello,
Today I would like to share with you the FTTX comprises many variants of fiber optic.
Fiber to the X (FTTX) comprises the many variants of fiber optic access infrastructure.
These include fiber to the home (FTTH), fiber to the building (FTTB), and fiber to the curb or cabinet (FTTC), etc.
Fiber to the home (FTTH), is the installation and use of optical fiber and passive optical network technology, GEPON, from a central point directly to individual buildings and businesses to povide high-speed Internet access. FTTH dramatically increases the connection speeds available to computer users compared with technologies now used in most places.
GEPON or EPON (Ethernet PON) is an IEEE standard that uses Ethernet for sending data packets. GEPON uses 1 gigabit per second upstream and downstream rates.
