Configure CHAP authentication because CHAP authentication meets user's requirements of reliable authentication and high security.
Configure RADIUS authentication, and configure RouterA as the CHAP authenticator and RouterB as the CHAP authenticated party so that RouterA authenticate RouterB using RADIUS authentication.

A user accesses the NMS server from an NMS client by RADIUS. Using the centralized RADIUS authentication scheme, the carrier manage all NMS users in a centralized manner at the RADIUS authentication center. Figure 1 shows the networking scheme.
