Today I will share with you how to install or activate a License for an AC.
Prerequisite
You have logged in to a WLAN AC.
You have obtained the license files of the WLAN AC.
License Loading Precautions
| Error | License Loading Policy |
|---|---|
| The file coding format is incorrect. | License loading is forbidden. |
| The ESN of the AC is not included in the license ESN. | License loading is permitted, while the validity period is 60 days. |
| The license is expired. | License loading is forbidden. When a loaded license expires, a message is periodically displayed. |
| The product name is incorrect. | License loading is forbidden. |
Upload a license file.
Activate the license file. Run the license active file-name command to activate the license.
Verify the configuration.
Run the display license state command to check the license status on the AC.
Run the display license command to view license file information.

Step 1 Log in to the enterprise technical support website at http://support.huawei.com/enterprise.
Step 2 Click WLAN.
Step 3 Click the name of the product to be queried, for example, AC6605.
Step 4 Choose Installation & Upgrade > License Guide to find the License Usage Guide for your AC model.
Step 5 Open the License Usage Guide. Choose License Management > Installing Licenses in the navigation tree on the left, and follow the instructions.
