Frame Slip Alarms and Noises Occur When the eSpace U1910 Connects to a Device Through the T1 Trunk
Symptom
When the eSpace U1910 connects to a device through the T1 trunk, a lot of frame slip alarms and noises occur.
Possible Cause
The possible causes are as follows:
- E1 jumper caps are not removed on the CVP board, affecting the E1 working mode.
- The MRS parameter TdmCodec is not set to U_LAW.
- The clock source is not configured.
Solution
- Check the E1 jumper caps on the CVP board and remove all jumper caps. For details about the jumper locations, see the product installation manual.
- Run the show mrsparas command to check whether TdmCodec is set to U_LAW. If no, run the config modify mrsparas tdmcodec ulaw command to set this parameter to U_LAW. By default, this parameter is set to A_LAW, but it should be set to U_LAW in T1 mode.
- Run the show system clocksource information command to check the clock source configuration. If the configuration is incorrect, run the config system clocksource command to configure the clock source.
- If the fault persists, contact the service provider.
