Problem symptom
Frame freezing occurs during video playback on TV walls.
Root cause
The possible reasons are as follows:
1. Some video packets sent to the video decoder are lost.
2. The video decoder receives all video packets, but the jitter is large.
3. The video decoder receives all video packets, and the jitter meets the requirements. However, frame freezing still occurs during video playback. The decoder firmware version must be upgraded.
Troubleshooting
Step 1 Check the playback effect on the eDC. If frame freezing and erratic display occur on the eDC, the video packets sent to the decoder experience packet loss or large jitter. If frame freezing does not occur, obtain the ubp_dec_vgw.log for R&D engineers for analysis.
Step 2 To upgrade the decoder firmware, set the decoder to the idle state after the upgrade, and then set the decoder to the activated state.
1. Set the decoder to the idle state.
