Hey!

I'm sorry to say that this password won't help. It is just the password for the underlying Debian (6.0), not to the CLI of the device. I was on a pretty long train ride and had some time to look at this, as I wanted to have a working image for EVE-NG. After 10 hours of trying to (successfully) run any of the images I had to leave the train and give up :D I also tried the other router/switch images of eNSP as well as HCL (MSR36 and S5800 images), but they work in a completely different way.

Some quick notes about CE6800, which I expected most likely to run as it is a separate VM:
It is more or less a standard Debian with two partitions. The first one (0.img in svrpbox.img) is the system with some addons and some hidden stuff. The second partition (1.img in svrpbox.img) is a LUKS encrypted partition that contains the CE6800 and CE12800 files. This partition is mounted during boot as /opt. Inside this partition is a folder called v8pkgpool and inside that folder are some Shell scripts and another folder called VRPV800R013C00SPC560B560D1023 where the templates (and again a lot of scripts like v8startup.sh, start_svrp.sh, svrptool.sh, ...) for the CE6800 (s6800) and CE12800 (s12800) are located. There is one squash-fs file for the CE6800 (VRPV800R013C00SPC560B560.rpg) and one for the CE12800 (VRPV800R013C00SPC560B560.rpg - slightly different size). There is also a vsftpd configured to ship out files. The start of the switch instances is triggered from outside. It is definitely possible (Everything you can imagine is real - Pablo Picasso ;) to further reverse engineer this part and get it up and running, but this seems to be very time consuming to find out all the relations between the files/scripts etc.

Anyway, I would have loved to have an image for EVE-NG, but for the moment I guess it is the best (unless somebody has really a lot of time) to wait and hope for an AR1000v image. This already exists, but I'm not allowed to download it on the Huawei website. The AR1000v image recently became "public" on AWS and a quick test there looked promising to me. If you are just looking for something to do some basic configuration and/or get used to the CLI (for your students) you can run the h3cvsr2k image in EVE-NG/GNS3.

Greets,
uebi

Nice work!

Svrpbox is not like VNF. It is just a Linux box to run as many router instances as eNSP configured.

Try to start eNSP and GNS3 at the same time, and connet two devices by GE interfaces in UDP port.
