SmartDedupe&SmartCompression needs to consume CPU resources for performing fingerprint information processing, compression, and decompression. The impact on system performance increases as SmartDedupe&SmartCompression is enabled on more LUNs. Therefore, you should enable this feature only when it is required by services.
