Hello,

I want to ask something from you I have HG8240H in GPON software I want EPON software is that possible then tell me where I can find software for this please attach a file or link where I can download it.

Hello there!


Firstly, Huawei EchoLife ONT includes HG8010, HG8010H, HG8045, HG8045A, HG8240, HG8240H, HG8240T, HG8240W, HG8245, HG8245H, HG8245Q, HG8245T, HG8247, HG8247H, and router etc.


Next, if you want to download firmware upgrade files of Huawei EchoLife, please refer to the following step:


1. Click here to access the Access Network section of the support website of the enterprise network. All ONT products are displayed.


2. Click the ONT product -->Software Download. All released software related to the product can be found here.


3. Click and Download the software you need.


PS: You need to have the Huawei account and authority to download the firmware, if you don't have the authority, you can ask your provider to support to download it from Huawei support website.

To have more privileges and consequently the permission we ask you for a contract number with Huawei or a purchase order number or a serial number of an equipment and this according to your position as a partner or else a customer.
