Hi @Krayzie99
You can download the software at https://support.huawei.com/enterprise/en/routers/ar120-pid-21399251/software
And, connect your PC to the router through console port, then reboot the router, press Ctrl+B in 3 seconds to enter the BootROM main menu, enter "3. Network Menu" -> "2. Modify parameter" to set the router as FTP/TFTP client(PC works as the FTP/TFTP server), then selete "2. Serial Menu" to upload the software to the router. After the uploading, enter into the "4. Startup Select" -> "2. Set Boot File" to select the software you uploaded before.
Also, you can refer to the chapter 6 in the upgrading guide: https://support.huawei.com/enterprise/en/doc/EDOC1000160940?idPath=24030814|21432787|7923148|22318723|21399251

thank you
Hi @Krayzie99,
You can connect the router through the console port to enter the BootROM, chose the startup configuration, also, you can upload the startup configuration through the console port. If you don't have any backup, and no startup configuration files are found, you might need to upgrade the router.
Kindly refer to the https://support.huawei.com/hedex/hdx.do?docid=EDOC1100069307&id=dc_cfg_bios_0001&lang=en

is it possible to post the link to software upgrade here?

Hello,

Using the RESET Button to Restore Default Settings for AR100&AR120&AR150&160&200 Series and AR100-S&AR110-S&AR120-S&AR150-S&AR160-S&AR200-S Series

When incorrect configurations result in a fault (for example, device login failure), you can press the RESET button on the panel to enable the device to use default configurations in a restart.

Press the RESET button for no less than 5s to restart the device with default settings.

imgDownload?uuid=e9de348f9a12498a80082ef
  • If you press the RESET button for no longer than 5s, the device restarts without saving the current configurations and uses the original configuration file for the next startup. Therefore, save the configurations before pressing the RESET button.

  • If the device restarts with default configurations, the original configuration file still exists. After you perform configurations, save them to make them take effect. Otherwise, the device still uses default configurations in the next restart.

  • Do not power off the device during the operation. Otherwise, the operation fails and the device uses the original configuration file for the next startup.

Run the display factory-configuration command to display the factory configuration information.

Hi Wissal, the router's flash file system has been formatted so there is no config or startup file.
You can try to login to bootrom and set up the previous version as first at boot up. You can check the upgrade guide - the section that refers to bootrom - to understand how the settings should be made. Check the link below, chapter 6.

http://support.huawei.com/enterprise/en/doc/EDOC1000136580?idPath=7919710|21432787|7923148|22318718|6078839

Step 9 Enter 4 to set the loaded system software as the startup program.

Enter your choice(1-7):4
Startup Select

1. Display Startup
2. Set Boot File
3. Set Config File
4. Startupfile Check Manage
5. Set Startup Waiting Time
0. return

Enter your choice(0-5):2
Select Boot File

1. Flash
0. Return

Enter your choice(0-3):1
NOTE: Boot file must be .cc or .CC

Current boot file: flash:/AR1220-V200R008C50SPC500.cc
Press ENTER directly for no change.
Or, please input the new file name: flash:/AR1220-V200R008C50SPC500.cc
Save the bootfile name: flash:/ AR1220-V200R008C50SPC500.cc ? Yes or No(Y/N)y
Save load state word...OK!

Startup Select

1. Display Startup
2. Set Boot File
3. Set Config File
4. Startupfile Check Manage
5. Set Startup Waiting Time
0. return

Enter your choice(0-5):0

Hi friend!

1. Restore factory settings through the CLI.

A. Run the reset saved-configuration command to delete the content of the configuration files for next startup and cancel the configuration files for next startup so that the default router settings are restored.

B. Run the reboot fast command to restart the system.

2. Restore factory settings through the web platform.

A. Choose Maintenance > System Management > Configuration File Management.

B. Click Restore Factory Settings.

C. In the displayed Confirm dialog box, click OK.

The system then restarts the router and clears the current configuration.
