Hello Everyone in the Huawei Community

I would like you to help me find a variant or solution.

I work with SecureCRT 6.7 to manage several network devices (close to 900 with the possibility of reaching 1000) divided into section folders. So far it has solved what I have done, but it is becoming very slow every day, when looking for a specific section, because I keep saving and increasing the sections in the SecureCRT.

I explain;

We are several administrators and we are working with the same team, trying to have a centralized CRT (more less like a "CRT SERVER"), sharing the main folder of the Sections and placing them in the destination path of each CRT on each administrator's machine ("CRT CLIENT"). So if some of the administrators add or remove a device, when each administrator opens its CRT it is already updated.

The problem, I repeat, is that from the CRT CLIENTS, the search becomes slower and they are complaining, due to being too slow. With this form, we avoid that each administrator has to copy the updated folder with all the new devices added, every so often; since sometimes they forget or do not copy them well or not completely.

All the machines "CRT CLIENT" and CRT SERVER, belong to the same Vlan and I have them in a switch dedicated to these nothing, all with 1G of Connectivity.

If anyone knows of another way to do this, I would be grateful if you could help me troubleshoot or find another tool (s), SecureCRT, MobaXterm. etc.SecureCRT

Thank you very much in advance

Greetings ChinoEdel.

Well, I think, the vast of hosts causing the software slowly.
You know, we're neither the professional supporting nor the R&D for this software, maybe, you can consult for their supporting team.
Thanks for your understanding.

Hi,
I don't know if SecureCRT has such a function, I suggest you contact SecureCRT official staff for confirmation.

I think it is better to use the NMS software, such as Huawei eSight, to monitor all devices. Each administrator can log in to the NMS software to operate the devices.

Yes, ok I understand, but it is that I only use SecureCRT to enter through ssh (cli mode) and not for management and monitoring (I use OpManager and PRTG).

In the Post I do not go into detail, but among the 900 and more devices, not all are Huawei, although these are the vast majority; I also have Cisco, Nokia, Ericsson, Tp-Link, Netgear, H3C, Allied Telesis, etc.

Many thanks for everything.
Greetings

Hello, if you excuse me for having published something that was not Huawei. I am clear that this is a Huawei community. But I was only looking for a variant or a solution.
Thank you very much for the clarification.
Greetings.

Yes, as long as you have Huawei devices in your network, it is reasonable that you suspect the problem is caused due to the Huawei devices, and publishing the question is normal.

I'm trying to figure out how to run a python script that sends all the commands for switch preps to all open tab sessions.

Some examples would be awesome but also does anyone have a link to a python documentation for securecrt. I have no idea what commands i can and cant use when scripting for securecrt. I've googled everywhere as well with no luck. Metal Folding Chairs Manufacturers
