The scroll command is used to set the automatic screen scroll. When the output information occupies the entire screen, the system scrolls the output information on the screen automatically. In the query operation, the system information is sometimes too much to be displayed in just one screen. To facilitate the query, you can run this command to change the mode of displaying the information by enabling the automatic screen scroll.
The undo scroll command is used to set the manual screen scroll. When the output information occupies the entire screen, you need to scroll the output information on the screen manually. When you need to check the information displayed on more than one screens, run this command. After the command is executed successfully, when the output information occupies the entire screen, the system stops scrolling and waits for you to scroll manually.
The undo idle-timeout command is used to cancel the manually configured terminal timeout time. After command execution, the system automatically sets the terminal timeout time to 120 minutes. The interval for common operations on a terminal is within 120 minutes, and the default terminal timeout time is 5 minutes. Therefore, run this command to ensure that a terminal is not disconnected before you perform operations on the terminal.
