Firmware update required for HG8145V

Hi 

I have owned a HUWAEI ONT router HG8145V and I get this from the AIRTEL a few years back. I have paid fully for this device and now I want to use this device with the other ISP but, it won't allow as the LOS light always red. As per my knowledge, this router is ISP locked. As I m no more AIRTEL user please provide me firmware update or any other solution to use this device with the other service provider. This will be really helpful, please reply on this on priority because I do not want to pay for the router again.

Hi,
This device is a carrier device. The forum is mainly for enterprise devices.
I had confirmed the issue with the carrier's tech support prior to this.
As mentioned above, the device was developed based on the requirements of the carrier, so it has been determined that it cannot be unlocked from the hardware.

Well on https://forum.huawei.com/enterprise/en/can-t-find-anything-related-to-huawei-echolife-hg8145v-not-hg8145v5-or-hg8245/thread/643255-100181...we can clearly see you have all updates link on firmware for this...so you can share us that...also opt for some special permission if you do not have any such...

Yes, as I said, we're looking at enterprise devices, and usually, if you're enterprise users, they have access to the firmware.

I am sorry! As you know, the HG8145V is developed based on carrier requirements. As a manufacturer, we do not have permission to unlock the HG8145V through firmware.


The firmware of the HG8145V is owned only by the ISP.  


If you need to obtain the firmware, contact the ISP to obtain the firmware.

So, please tell me how i can unlock it. Because ISP provider asked HUAWEI to contact for this they said HUAWEI team might help you on this. Also, they are right because its the HUAWEI router. So, just let me know how can i unlock it. Because I can not pay always for router again and again and whats the use of it.

Hi,
If the LOS indicator is red, the ONT fails to register.
As you said, if we don't pay the fee, then the ISP can terminate our network services.
The ONT is only the carrier of a network. We all purchase network services from the ISP.
