Hello, everyone!
Today I will continue to show tools for work with PVC pipes, optical cables and optical fibers. Each tool will be shown in the picture. This is the second article about this theme.
5. Loose tube cutter
A loose tube cutter is a very important and useful tool in optical tools. If we use loose tube cables, we have to use this tool. This is a lightweight tool and very simple for using. We can adjust blades and we can set it for any depth. With this tool, we cut transversely PVC tubes. Except for optical cables, we can use this tool for RG cables, SO, SJ, SJT and many other types of power cords. In the next figure, we can see a loose tube cutter.

6. Pair of tweezers
The pair of tweezers is made of steel. It is an integral part of the optical tool and is used to work with optical fibers - for fiber disposal and management. We can see pair of tweezers in the next picture.

7. Isopropyl alcohol dispenser
These are plastic compressed bottles with a transport cap. We use it for alcohol or solvents for cleaning cables, etc. We can see this bottle in the next picture.

8. Drop stripper
Drop strippers are used for drop cables, in the last segment of ODN. This tool can be useful, because it can increase the speed of working with drop cables. Drop stripper stripes outer jacket of drop cables and cuts the strength members to expose the fiber inside. This tool is showed in the next figure.

9. Special loose tube cutter
This is the special loose tube cutter. It can be a very useful tool for work with loose tube cables. This is a lightweight tool and very simple to use. We can adjust blades and we can set it for any depth. With this tool, we cut longitudinally PVC tubes without damage optical fibers.
