icon-note.gif NOTE:
Only the NE05E-SI/NE05E-SM support PoE.
  • NE05E-SI: provides a maximum of four PoE interfaces. Each interface supports a maximum of 30 W power supply. The PoE function is enabled by default.
  • NE05E-SM: provides a maximum of three PoE interfaces. The PoE function is enabled by default. The PoE specifications of the NE05E-SM vary according to the PCB version.
    icon-note.gif NOTE:
    • On an NE05E-SM with the PCB version earlier than ANP1CXPE REV D, GE0/2/1 supports a maximum of 130 W, and GE 0/2/2 and GE 0/2/3 share 60 W.
    • On an NE05E-SM with the PCB version ANP1CXPE REV D or later, GE 0/2/1 and GE 0/2/2 support a maximum of 150 W, GE 0/2/3 supports a maximum of 60 W, and the total power of the three interfaces cannot exceed 210 W.
  • A PoE interface supports power supply in a specified time segment. If a power-off time segment is specified for a PoE interface on an NE, the NE stops supplying power to the PD connected to this PoE interface in the specified time segment.
  • A PoE interface supports overload protection.
  • A PoE interface supports short-circuit protection.
  • PoE complies with IEEE 802.3af and IEEE 802.3at.
