Mapping between the SPU and S7700&S9700
- S7700 V100R003 matches SPU V100R002(which is contained in the S7700 software).
- S7700 V100R006 matches SPU V100R003(which is released independently).
- S7700&S9700 V200R001 and later versions are in a mapping relationship with SPU versions. For example, S7700&S9700 V200R001 matches SPU V200R001.
- The SPU V1R2 is contained in the S7700 software. To upgrade the S7700 and SPU of the same version, you only need to upgrade the S7700. The SPU completes upgrade automatically.
- The SPU V1R3 and later versions are released independently. When SPU is
upgraded, S7700 and SPU must also be upgraded. The following method is
recommended:
- Specify the SPU's system software for next startup.
- Specify the S7700's system software for next startup.
- Restart the S7700. (The SPU will restart simultaneously.)
- The SPU V200R001 and later versions are released independently. When SPU is
upgraded, S7700&S9700 and SPU must also be upgraded. The following method is
recommended:
- Specify the SPU's system software for next startup.
- Specify the S7700&S9700's system software for next startup.
- Restart the S7700&S9700. (The SPU will restart simultaneously.)
After the upgrade is complete, run the display version command on the SPU to check the SPU version.
