The following method describes how to log in to a computer using the cloud client on a Windows PC.
1. (Optional) If the PC runs Windows 7 SP1, install KB2999226.
2. Install CloudClient.
Note:
Important notes for installing CloudClient on a Windows PC:
You have logged in to the Windows PC as an administrator.
The PC must run Windows 7 SP1 or Windows 10.
The Windows PC must meet the following requirements: available disk space > 500 MB, memory ≥ 2 GB, and CPU frequency ≥ 2.0 GHz.
When security software displays a dialog box, allow the installation to continue.
3. Double-click
in the operating system of the PC.
The Registration Server Configuration window is displayed.
4. Enter the server address and server name, and click Save and connect.
Note:
Server Address: IP address of the WI server.
5. Enter the correct username and password, and click
to log in to the computer.
Note:
Obtain the username and password from the administrator before the first login to a computer.
In a multi-domain scenario, enter correct domain information to ensure successful login.
Upon the first login to a computer, change the password immediately.
