[FAQ]How Often Does a Switch Report Traps After Detecting MAC Address Flapping?

Latest reply: Nov 19, 2016 16:04:05 1185 1 0 0

In earlier versions of V100R005C10, a switch reports an alarm about MAC address flapping after detecting MAC address flapping three times, and the frequency cannot be configured.

In V100R005C10 and later versions, a switch reports an alarm about MAC address flapping after detecting MAC address flapping 10 times. You can run the mac-address flapping detection [ security-level { low | middle | high } ] command to configure the security level for MAC address flapping detection.
