Failure to Take Snapshots of the Zoom-in Video Pane in the English Operating System
Symptom
In the English operating system:
- Log in to the C/S client as the user Admin, and set the language to Chinese.
- Choose the camera to a video pane.
- Click the live video pane, and click
in the bottom of the video pane, and then draw the box to zoom in. - In the zoom-in video pane, click
to take snapshots.
The client fails to take snapshots.
Possible Causes
The character coding of the C/S client is different from that of the Windows 7 English operating system.
Solution
- Choose .
- Click Clock, Language, and Region.
- Click Region and Language.The Region and Language dialog box is displayed, as shown in Figure 1.Figure 1 Region and Language dialog box

- Click Administrative tab page.
- Click Change system locale....
- Set Current system locale to Chinese (Simplified, PRC), as shown in Figure 2.Figure 2 Region and Language Settings dialog box

- Click OK.
A dialog box is displayed.
- Click Restart now to restart the computer.
- After the computer restarts completely, log in to the C/S client, and check whether the fault is rectified.
If the fault is rectified, no further action is required. If the fault persists, contact Huawei technical support engineers.
