Hello everyone,

We are connecting the NE40E on zabbix, but since I forgot the community, so I tried a few times. but after I checked with my workmates, I got the correct community, but when I input the correct community, I can not access the NE40E through SNMP, the network is ok, kindly guide us in this matter, thanks!

@user_3357111 hi!

You said that you tried a few times before getting the correct community. After that, you can not access the device even with the correct community. I think it’s because the device the block's IP address for Zabbix once the incorrect community is used.

The blocking time will increase until 5 minutes if the wrong community input all the time. After that, even when the correct community adopted, it blocks anyway. Please refer to this link https://support.huawei.com/hedex ... ocid=EDOC1100038601.

You can wait for a few minutes, then try again.

I don't think so, though the router may not accessible from the internet, but it can be accessed from the intranet, you never know where the hackeres will start the network attack.
