This topic describes how to deal with the problem that failure to collect video over networks or upload files.


Solution

Check whether the VDS and MP are running properly

  1. Log in to the CSP OM portal as the admin user.

  2. Choose Application Configuration > Configuration Management > Configuration > Application Name > Cluster > Analysis.

  3. Set Cluster to MP_CPUVA, click Nodes, and check the status of i_vds and i_mcss. If the status is not running, an alarm is generated. Handle the alarm as prompted.

  4. Log in to the CSP OM portal and check whether the device status is running. If so, perform service operations again.

  • If the service operations are successful, no further action is required.

  • If the service operations fail, go to the next step.


Check whether the physical space is sufficient

  1. Log in to the CSP OM portal as the admin user.

  2. Choose Monitoring > Alarms > Active Alarms and check whether an alarm indicating insufficient storage space is generated.

  • If so, expand the storage space.

  • If not, go to the next step.

Collect video over networks or upload files again.

  • If networked video collection or file upload is successful, no further action is required.

  • If networked video collection or file upload fails, go to the next step.


Check whether the algorithm is installed

  1. Log in to the CSP OM portal as the admin user.

  2. Choose Application Configuration > Configuration Management > Configuration > Application Name > Plugin > Algorithm Plug-ins.

  3. Check whether the algorithm for executing the networked collection task is installed. If not, install it.

  4. Collect video over networks again.

  • If networked video collection is successful, no further action is required.

  • If networked video collection fails, go to the next step.


Check whether a device has historical recordings

  1. Log in to the iClient.

  2. Choose Basic Operations > Playback, select a camera, and check whether the camera has recordings.

    1. If not, execute the networked collection task after the camera has recordings.

    2. If so, contact technical support.
