Failing to start virtual NIC on the Huawei VPN Client

Dear Sirs,


This post enquires about the issue of failing to start virtual NIC on the Huawei VPN Client. Please see more details below.


ISSUE DESCRIPTION


I have a VPN Client installed on Windows 8.1. After trying to connect, all 5 steps are successful, but at the end I get an error that a Virtual NIC adapter cannot be started. What could cause this issue of failing to start virtual NIC on the Huawei VPN Client?

Dears,

To solve this issue do the following steps :

1. Disable driver signature enforcement  (solution from Microsoft website  here)

2. Install driver from the Huawei VPN director ( C:\Program Files (x86)\Huawei\HUAWEI VPN Client\svnDrive_X64 )  Right click on (VNICSetup.inf) then Click ( install )  , you will see this message ( the operation completed successfully) .

3. Restart your PC then run VPN software without problem .
