Hello there, Community members!
This post describes the process of solving the issue of failing to make a call to a mobile number from an attendant. Please see more details on the topic below.
ISSUE DESCRIPTION
An attendant enters the mobile number of an outer-office user, but fails to make a call to the user, because the mobile number is automatically prefixed with 00 according to the captured packets.
ANALYSIS
The outer-office mobile number is not a local number and the attendant selected Max. intra-office number length and Detect number location (Auto add 0 to non-local mobile numbers).
SOLUTION
If the number location detection service is configured on the voice server, cancel this service:
On the Calling Rule page on the SoftConsole, deselect Max. intra-office number length and Detect number location (Auto add 0 to non-local mobile numbers).
This is all on the process of solving the issue of failing to make a call to a mobile number from an attendant.
