Failing to add the new HIK Vision cameras to the system

In this post, I will explain the issue of failing to add a new HIK Vision camera.

Problem Description

Failing to add the new HIK Vision cameras to the system.

Problem Analysis

After checking the iClient we found some features disappear, iClient is abnormal due to PC resources

Root Cause

PC resources are insufficient.

Solution

Confirmed to check another PC with the below minimum specifications 

• Configuration A

  I5-6600 CPU @3.30 GHz; 64-bit operating system; installation memory: 8 GB; Windows 10 Professional Edition 

• Configuration B

  I7-6600 CPU @3.2 GHz; 64-bit operating system; installation memory: 16 GB; Windows 10 Professional Edition (CPU software decoding) 
  

• Configuration C

  I7-8700 CPU @3.2 GHz; 64-bit operating system; installation memory: 16 GB; Windows 10 Professional Edition (hardware decoding based on the integrated graphics card)
