Failed to Start the LMT Client Due to Insufficient Physical Memory
Symptom
Network: eSpace U1980-LMT server-LMT client (Both the LMT server and client are installed on servers running the Windows Server 2008 64-bit operating system.)
Version: eSpace U1980 V100R00CC01SPC400
When a user double-clicks the client icon to start the LMT client, an error message is displayed, indicating that the physical memory is insufficient and at least 200 MB physical memory must be reserved.
Possible Cause
- The physical memory is insufficient on the server.
- Some software causes memory leakage so that the physical memory is used up on the server.
- The operating system version is incorrect.
Solution
- Check the physical memory. It is found that 40% of the physical memory is still available. The physical memory is sufficient.
- Contact LMT R&D engineers and learn that the current version of the LMT client does not support 64-bit operating systems.
- Ask the customer to install the LMT client on a 32-bit operating system. The fault is rectified.
Conclusion and Suggestion
Currently, the LMT client for the eSpace U1980 does not support 64-bit operating systems.
