A SIP user fails to be created on the U1980, and the message "Failed to create the SIP user" is displayed.

The solution is as follows

1. On the U1980 web interface, click User > Device ID.

2. Select the duplicate device ID and click Delete.

3. On the User > SIP page, add a SIP user.
