Failed to create a LUN

Hello, experts!

On an OceanStor Dorado 5000 V3 storage system in IP SAN networking, I want to create a LUN. However, the creation fails and the error message is as follows:

Description:

The license file is invalid because its format does not conform to the specifications. Suggestion:

Download a valid license file. If the fault persists after the valid license file is imported, contact technical support engineers.

Any solutions will be appreciated!

Do you enable the SmartDedupe, SmartCompression and SmartThin feature.

Intelligent deduplication and compression are enabled on Dorado storage by default. The license (storage license basic package) is required for activation. LUN: application type (default is selected by default and intelligent deduplication and compression are enabled for all applications). If you purchase a basic license file, purchase advanced functions to import the basic license file.

Do I need to purchase a license to use it? My license is the basic version.

Yes. You can purchase the license for the feature and add it to the basic license, or disable the feature when creating a LUN.

You can according to the following steps to locate the issue:

1. Check whether the imported license file does not take effect. Choose Settings > License Management and check whether the imported license file is available.

2. Check whether the fault is caused by hardware faults such as links. Check whether alarms are generated on the home page of the platform.
