Hello, everyone. Now I'd like to share with you a problem about the failure to create a logical fiber
The fault symptom is as follows:
The SBM8 device is connected to the MR1 device. Services have been created between physical devices, but logical fibers cannot be created on the U2000. Creating a bidirectional fiber triggers a fiber direction error because the IN/OUT ports on MR1 do not support bidirectional fibers. Unidirectional fibers cannot be created for the IN or OUT port on MR1.
Analysis and Handling Procedure:
Step 1 The MR1 board mainly serves to add/drop a channel of wavelength signals to/from the multiplexed signals in a direction.
Application scenario 1: OADM mode
The MR1 board supports two-fiber bidirectional transmission. The following figure shows the MR1 board application in the WDM system.

Application scenario 2: Bandpass mode
In the CWDM system, when the wavelength of the MR1 board is 1531 nm, it supports the bandpass mode, and applies in single-fiber bidirectional transmission system.

Step 2 The U2000 allows users to set the MR1 board to OADM Mode or Bandpass Mode.

Solution:
Set the MR1 board to OADM Mode or Bandpass Mode. Then the IN and OUT ports on MR1 become bidirectional ports LINE1 and LINE2. Two unidirectional fibers can be created on each port to connect to SBM8.
