Hello, everyone.

I have created a sub-interface on the S5700 switch and want to configure VLAN termination (dot1q and QinQ). However, I fail to configure VLAN termination. Why?

Please help me. Thank you!

Hi, WDNJSQ.
VCMP is enabled on the S5700. In versions earlier than V200R005C00, the default role of the S5700 is client. The S5700 that role as a client cannot be configured with VLAN tag termination sub-interfaces. You can run the vcmp role {server | silent | transparent} command to change the VCMP role of a switch to a non-client role.
