This article will introduce the reason and handling process when OSN580 fails to add a DMS logical board.
Issue Description
OSN580 Failed to add a DMS logical board. The display message "The interface board does not match the processing board. Error code: 1090593555"
Device Version：5.125.08.11
NMS version: U2000 V2R17C60SPC200
Handling Process
Possible causes:
1. The DMS board version does not match the host version.
Query the V100R008C00SPC100(5.125.08.11) version mapping table and it supports the TNM1DMS board. This cause is excluded.
2.U2000 NMS version does not match the device version.
For V100R008C00SPC100(5.125.08.11), the V2R15C60 is required for the U2000 NMS. Therefore, this cause is excluded.
3. The slot for inserting the DMS into the slot is incorrect.
The DMS board is inserted into slot 2. The DMS board occupies two slots. It can be installed in adjacent slots of slot 1, slot 2, slot 4, slot 5, slot 6, slot 8, slot 9, slot 11, slot 12, and slot 13. Exclude the possible cause.
4. The DMS processing board PD1 is not in position.
The DMS board is an interface board and needs to work with the PD1 board. However, the PD1 board is installed on the DMS board. Therefore, the DMS board is added to the DMS board instead of the PD1 board. The PD1 board logic is not added to the 123/124 slot.
After the extended slot is displayed, after the PD1 board is added to slot 123/124, the logical board of the DMS is automatically added to slot 2.
