Alarm Information
On NE40 interconnects with the peer CISCO 7609 via ATM interface, the
large packets are uncommunicated,while the small ones are
communicated.
Handling Process
1.Check the transmission, and detect the transmission has no alarm.
Access the other service via the same transmission, the other service is
normal.
2.Acquire the customers and know by default, the peer CISCO device`s
MTU is:4700，and the users use the default value, enlarge the MTU value on the
lcoal NE40, the malfunction remains, exclude the problem of MTU
value.
3.Check the ATM service configuration over two ends and detect both of
them are vbr-nrt，exclude the possibility of ATM service type
difference.
4.Check the ATM parameter configuration over two ends and detect
the local confiugration is : service vbr-nrt 102400 102400 36;while the peer
configuration is:service vbr-nrt 10240 10240 36,they are not consistent. The
problem is solved after modifying.
