External clock synchronization failure alarm
[Problem version]
HCS 6.5.1 and earlier
[Cause]
The alarm information is not standard. As a result, the alarm cannot be automatically cleared.
[Solution]
1. Perform the following steps to check whether the NTP service is successfully synchronized. If the synchronization fails, contact the contact person to locate the fault.
2. If the synchronization is successful, manually clear the alarm and install the 8.0.1.SPC3 patch.
[Procedure]
Check whether the NTP clock is successfully synchronized. If the synchronization is successful, manually clear the alarm.
Troubleshooting Procedure:
1. Log in to the node using SSH. The default username and password are djmanager/Cloudservice@123! and root/Cloud12#$.
2. Run the /usr/sbin/ntpdate -q x.x.x.x command, where x.x.x.x indicates the IP address of the NTP server in the alarm information.
3. If adjust time server x.x.x.x offset is displayed in the command output, NTP clock synchronization is successful. For example:
