HiCoins as reward: 0 (problem unresolved)

Does anyone have experience with ONT Eg8145V5?

I know features of this model. But I can measure speed over 100Mbs only on LAN1.

Hello, my friend.

Ethernet ports on the EG8145V5 support auto-adaptive 10 Mbit/s, 100 Mbit/s, or 1000 Mbit/s.

Cabled Internet speeds are normally affected by broadband bandwidth, the negotiated rate of the port, and other environmental factors.

  1. If your broadband bandwidth is less than 1000 Mbps, the data rate on your device will not exceed the maximum bandwidth value. For example, if your bandwidth is 20 Mbps, your Internet speed will not exceed 20 Mbps.

  2. It is recommended that you establish network connections using a standard 8-wire cable and ensure that it is properly connected.

    NOTE:

If you are using a router with a Gigabit port, using an 8-wire Ethernet cable should allow your negotiated rate to reach one Gigabit.

  3. Some broadband access devices have multiple LAN ports. However, only one or more may be Gigabit LAN ports. Therefore, if your router is connected to a 100 Mbps LAN port, your Internet speed will not exceed 100 Mbps. In this case, you can try connecting your router to each of the ports and check whether your Internet speed increases.

    NOTE:

  • If you have just powered on your router, it is recommended that you wait for the system to stabilize before performing the speed measurement.

  • Avoid performing the speed measurement if you are downloading, streaming videos, or initiating other high-speed services.

  • Disconnect other users from the network during the speed test.

Thanks.

I connect laptop with ONT.
My laptop has gigabyte port. I measure speed over 100Mbps on LAN1 (e.g. test is 350/120Mbps), but on ports LAN2, LAN3 and LAN4 speed is max 85Mbps.

Yes.

Perhaps because the ISP limits the rate of the device port, and the bandwidth rate of the home network depends on the network service package purchased.

No, it is not.
I work for this ISP. And I bought this ONT. This is new device. And there are difference between catalog features and real feature.
