EUTRAN Neighboring

  HiCoins as reward: 0 (problem unresolved)

Hi, I'm on the process of changing the DLEARFCN from all the eNodeB, this is because we are going to increase the carrier bandwidth from 10MHz to 15MHz.

The next is the script execution process to update the DLEARFCN on every eNodeB:

- RMV EUTRANINTRAFREQNCELL (To remove eNodeB neighboring, cause I'll change the DLEARFCN from this relationship).
- MOD CELL (To update the DLEARFCN on every eNodeB cell).
- MOD EUTRANEXTERNALCELL (To update the DLEARFCN from eNodeB external cells).
- ADD EUTRANINTRAFREQNCELL (To add new eNodeB neighboring with DLEARFCN updated).
- MOD ULTECELL (On the RNC to update the neighboring relationship from UMTS to LTE)

I'll do this on every eNodeB, one by one on WebLMT; on the execution process, there will be a discontinuity with the eNodeB that are not updated yet, so this work should be executed fast.

I'm interested in knowing if someone part of this community can check this process, or find a better way to do it on all the eNodeB from the network.

Best Regards!

Hello, sam_gonlz!
Yes, the modification process will affect the user experience. It is recommended to modify it at night. Because you involved the process of deleting and adding neighbors. During this configuration process, if the user of the base station moves to an adjacent cell, voice and data transmission is interrupted because the base station cannot switch services (such as voice and data services) performed by the user to neighboring cell base stations.

I don't know if there is a batch setting for this feature. If possible, you can find it in the web management interface.
Thanks for your question!

if you have access to U2020 you can use task management then create a big script and execute it very quickly.
Each command should finish with {nodename} for example

lst vlanmap:; {Mars2304}
