Eth-Trunk between routers

Hi everyone!


How do we configure the Eth-Trunk between routers?


When I am trying to add the GE ports in the trunk, then an error would pop up showing 'layer 3 interfaces cannot add into layer 2 trunk'.


How do I fix this?


Also, how do I send the IP address to the Eth-Trunk interface?

If you want to add the IP address to an Eth-Trunk, you should undo the portswitch first. The portswtich command can be configured on the interface, I just tried that.

please enable the portswitch on the interface which you want to add into the eth-trunk,
command as
portswitch // interface view

by the way, if there is configuration configured by the administrator rather than the default configuration, the intrface can not be add into the eth-trunk. and I'm wrong with saying configure the interface to a portswitch and then add it into the eth-trunk
