Hello, guys!
Have a nice day!
This topic describes the solution to eSpace portal is not opening from eSpace Desktop.
When using eSpace Desktop V2R3C00SPC200 and when I right-click the eSpace Desktop tray on the windows, then choose eSpace Portal to open the BMU self-service, a new window opens on IE but the site cannot be reached because of an error message.
First of all, you need to check the settings on the BMU when you log into the BMU with the admin user, then choose functions > services and check the BMU self-service to make sure that it is written in format https://x.x.x.x:8443.
Check if you can ping this IP from desktop which has the eSpace terminal on it.
Check from other laptops if it's working.
Tried to type the URL directly on the IE and got the same error message, so I checked the IE browser settings, it was IE 8.
After checking the TLS and SSL settings, from tools > advanced > uncheck any SSL and check the TLS 1.0, 1.1, and 1.2, then tried again.
You will notice that the web page will work just fine after the IE settings are made as per below:

It was an IE setting issue, so I have to make sure that on IE 8 we have to uncheck the SSL and just choose TLS options.
This is the solution, hope it can help you!
