The topic introduces the eSpace Desktop error codes.
You can find error codes in eSpace Desktop logs and check the error code description to find causes and solutions.
On the PC where the eSpace Desktop is installed, choose Start > Run, enter %appdata%, and go to the eSpace_Desktop\log directory. Use a text editing tool to open the service.log file and search for esLoginResultLog. You can find information similar to the following:

Error Code | Description | Possible Cause | Solution |
-100 | kLoginResultTimeOut | Login times out. | Verify that the network is connected properly. |
2 | kLoginResultPasswordError | The password is incorrect. | Contact the administrator to obtain the correct password. |
3 | kLoginResultAccountNotExist | The account does not exist. | Log in to the BMU and verify that the account exists. |
5 | kLoginResultAccountLocked | The account is locked. | The account is locked if the number of times you enter an incorrect password reaches the maximum. Wait for a moment and try again. |
6 | kLoginResultNeedNewVersion | The current version cannot be used. Download the new version. | Upgrade the eSpace Desktop to the latest version. |
7 | kLoginResultNotActive | The user is not activated. | The user is not activated. |
8 | The user is not activated. | The account is suspended. | |
9 | kLoginResultAccountExpire | The account has expired. | |
10 | kLoginResultDecryptFailed | Message decryption fails. | The causes of this error are complex. First, check the network connection between the eSpace Desktop and the eServer. |
11 | kLoginResultCertDownloadFailed | Certificate download fails. | |
12 | kLoginResultCertValidateFailed | Certificate verification fails. | |
