eSpace Desktop cannot login

Not able to login to eSpace Desktop


We are using  CloudUSM and CloudECS R6.

Can you describe the error information in detail?


And check the following tips:

  • whether the UC function has been enabled for the account.

  • whether the account and password are correct.

  • Is the eSpace Desktop installed at extranet?

  • Try to restart the eServer service and log in again.

Procedure

  1. Double-click the eSpace Desktop application icon imgDownload?uuid=7367908010c94e4dadaaa2b.


    The eSpace Desktop login dialog box is displayed.


  2. In the lower right corner of the login dialog box, click imgDownload?uuid=9f670b0fb1064b36a162e49 and choose Server Address.


    A dialog box shown in Figure 2-2 is displayed.

  3. Set server parameters.


  • Using no proxy

    Click Intranet or Extranet. On the Intranet or Extranet tab page, set the server address (IP address or domain name) and port number, as shown in

    Figure 2-3.

    Ask your administrator for the IP address and domain name of the corresponding server.The port number is 8011.

  • Manually entering proxy information

    Click Intranet or Extranet. On the Intranet or Extranet tab page, set the server address (IP address or domain name) and port number, select Use proxy, and set the IP address, port number, account, and password of the proxy server, as shown in Figure 2-4.

  • Obtaining proxy information from the browser

    Click Intranet or Extranet. On the Intranet or Extranet tab page, set the server address (IP address or domain name) and port number, select Use proxy and Obtain proxy from the browser, and set the account and password of the proxy server, as shown in Figure 2-5. When you select Obtain proxy from the browser, the IP address and port number are automatically obtained from the browser and cannot be edited.

I have assigned all mentioned details but still showing login failed message. We assigned USM access side ip address in server ip address field and configured same port number 8011.
