eSpace can send message , but can't make a call

This topic describes the solution to eSpace can send message but cannot make a call.

Problem description

eSpace can send message , but can't make a call.

Generally speaking , if the call failed , you can hear the error message , and the common situation is "direct VOIP register failed"

Analysis

For this problem , always becasue the UC server (BMU /UC server) register success , so the UC feature is no problem ,but the voice gateway(U19XX)register failed.

And in some situation, eSpace is register from public netowork , but there is no SBC , so need configure the NAT for UC server,  for this kind of situation we may face no voice problem.

Solution

• For internal network, check the network between espace and U19.
  

• For external, deploy a SBC.
